Tadashi Moriyama was born and raised in Japan. He attended Tyler School of Art (BA 2003) and University of Pennsylvania (MFA 2006) He has exhibited in Japan, Ireland, Italy, and across the United States.

Moriyama is currently represented by Bonelli Art Contemporary (Los Angeles), Bonelli Arte Contemporanea (Montova Italy) and Johansson Projects (Oakland CA). In addition to his painting, he makes miniature paintings and mixed media animation.

Moriyama resides and works in Brooklyn NY.
